Sunrise/Sunset Photographs

With some advance knowledge you can make great works of art at sunrise and sunset.  Getting to the site about a half hour early is key in this situation, because once the light starts changing you have a matter of moments to get the perfect shot. This area should be scouted out a few days prior to find the perfect location it will be hard to find when it is pitch black out. Pay attention to weather reports the sky is much more dramatic before and after a storm. When you get to the site set up the tripod and align your camera to compose the composition that fits the image in minds view. Shortly before the sun rises or after the sun sets you will get a unique light were the sky is a very  dramatic.
Depending on the time of day and month in year you may have some very pretty star formation in this photograph as well. Start shooting when you get this light and continue shooting as the light begins to change, there will be various different takes as the light changes it will begin to look like a whole new place.

On a calm day if you shoot by water you can get great reflections in the water with the sun, sky, and background. Use the timer setting on the camera to help eliminate shake, once you hit the shutter you move your hand and shortly after the exposure is taken. Another good option to use here is mirror lock up this helps to eliminate shake and makes an extra crisp photograph. Besides taken photographs of nature at sunrise/sunset, city scape photographs look really good with the dramatic sky behind.
Unfortunately the extraordinary colors we get at these times of day are from the smog and pollution. For more information on this subject look here. Well until next time happy shooting.

Photography Tips

Well I started a little over a month ago to write small articles on the internet. I have always wanted to write something but did not feel I had the ability. In actuality I still feel my writing lacks the ability to be any good, but it seems to be doing pretty well on the sites that I have contributed to. I have decided to write about photography because it is the subject that I have the most ability to write about. So if you need some help on photography click on the links for ehow, bukisa, hellium, andy m hubpages. If you have any advice leave a comment here we can all help each other out.

I am finally trying to blog, have been thinking about this for awhile but didn't know what to say. I went to school for photography for a little while and studied online and reading. I currently sell my pictures on a micro stock site and so far have been very happy with them.

I enjoy nature photography probably the most because I get to go out into nature and just relax. Head out to your spot before the sun comes up and set up and relax. After all of your equipment is set up and ready to go now you just need to sit there and wait for the show to begin. As the sun begins to rise the woods will come to life, and as long as you sit perfectly still and stay quiet you will be ready for all the great shots that will show up. Bracket all of your shots and compose it properly and you will have many masterpieces. Check these links for more information on this subject
